We can also define microgreens as vegetables and herbs developed from seeds and this are harvested at the seedling stage when they have only their seed leaves before their true leaves develop

Microgreens are Easy to grown at home, ensuring a fresh, nutrient-rich supply year-round.
- Start by putting soil into your container. Be gentle and don’t press it down too hard. Then, give it a little water.
- Next, sprinkle the seeds evenly on top of the soil. Try to spread them out so they have enough room to grow.
- After that, lightly spray water over the seeds. This helps them to stay moist and start germinating. Once you’ve done that, cover the container with a plastic lid to create a cozy environment for the seeds.
- Every day, make sure to check on your container. If the soil looks dry or the seeds aren’t damp, give them a little spray of water to keep them moist.
- After a few days, you’ll start to see the seeds sprouting and growing. When this happens, it’s time to remove the plastic lid. This allows them to get the light they need to grow strong and healthy.
- As your microgreens continue to grow, remember to water them once every day. This helps them to thrive and develop vibrant colors.
- Finally, after about 6 to 12 days, your microgreens should be fully grown and ready to harvest. You can simply pick them and enjoy them in your salads, sandwiches, or any other dish you like!
